Learn The Language
Adults English Language Online Project
Learn The Language project is an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning project specifically designed for migrants and refugees in Northern Ireland. The curriculum we follow is called 'The Language Hub'. This is a 'Macmillan Education Everywhere' curriculum designed for online learning.
A1 & B1 students are provided with a Ukrainian translator and a teaching assistant, as well as their ELS teacher.
B1 & B2 students are provided with an online book, group tutorial classes, preparation & practice homework and end of unit tests.

Each phase is a five week course
Each phase for B1 & B2 students consists of 20hrs (1 unit) of class time and 20hrs of independent learning. This 40 hours per phase leads the students towards a face to face ESOL certified exam in Belfast. By taking the ESOL exam in phase 9, students who successfully pass, will attain a certified ESOL LanguageCert. This certified qualification will up-skill migrants/refugees in Northern Ireland. Allowing them to apply for working visas, further education and higher level jobs.
Therapy Is For Everyone
We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for all our students through the "Therapy Is For Everyone" project. As part of this initiative, we provide fully funded online therapy sessions with a psychotherapist who speaks your language fluently.

Our qualified therapist resides in Northern Ireland and is specifically chosen from your country, ensuring cultural understanding and effective communication. Through secure 1.1 Zoom therapy sessions, you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and concerns in a supportive and confidential environment.

In addition to therapy, we offer various resources to support your emotional well-being. Our emotional resilience programs provide you with tools and techniques to navigate life's challenges with strength and positivity. We also organize mindfulness workshops, where you can learn mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness, reduce stress, and promote overall mental well-being.

Furthermore, we provide an online forum where students can connect with each other, share experiences, and seek advice and support from fellow learners and qualified professionals.

At "Learn The Language," we believe that mental health is an essential component of personal growth and language learning. We strive to create a nurturing community where everyone feels empowered to prioritize their mental well-being. Take advantage of our fully funded therapy sessions, emotional resilience programs, mindfulness workshops, and the supportive online forum to enhance your language learning journey holistically.
Sing What You Say
The "Sing What You Say" project is a creative and empowering initiative that focuses on utilizing music and song to enhance English language learning for refugees seeking sanctuary in Northern Ireland.

The project centers around a dynamic and engaging Music and Song Program, which aims to reinforce and apply the knowledge gained by participants through the language learning process.

Participants actively engage in music-related activities, including creating, practicing, and recording songs that incorporate English language grammar rules and vocabulary.

Through this program, participants have the opportunity to express themselves artistically and collaborate with others, fostering a sense of community and teamwork. The creative nature of music and song enhances language learning retention and makes the learning experience more enjoyable and effective.
